Ice Fishing in Alaska, Matanuska/Susitna Valley

There are many lakes here in the Matanuska\Susitna Valley, Alaska that can be fished. Most of the lakes are stocked by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. We pride ourselves at Alaska Chinook Charters in keeping on top of the best lakes to fish. We supply all rods, baits, heated ice fishing tent, guide and in some cases the snow machine to get to the destination for fishing.

The species most common in the lakes are Rainbow Trout, and Arctic Char. Some of the lakes will have stocked landlocked Salmon. Remember, the State of Alaska requires you to have a fishing license.
